"All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume."

Living in indifference, People dying, But that's none of your buisness. Starvation leading the world, Mitliary conflicts, Religious struggles everywhere, He has nothing, Can't deal his life without your help. You have a credit card, You eat twice a day, You have fun anytime, You go on holiday. Escaping his poverty, Held at a line separating hell and heaven. Disease ? That's so far away! Drive your car, get a job, find a wife, go to disneyland. Border makes you being blind, Don't care, live your daily life, He kept on dreaming about the one he should have. The planet is so full of hate, Death promises me a better place, Don't know if I can go on Before this world ends in a cemetary. Open your glued eyes, Open your spoiled mind, You can change the world If you realize. Trying to find an issue, Held by evil forces that make him be alone Poverty ? That's so far away ! Nothing to eat, nowhere to sleep, no possesion nor identity. Holding him away from you Won't keep you safe, He will go on and will fight till death! The planet is so full of hate, Death promises me a better place, Don't know if I can go on Before this world ends in a cemetary. Buy me a grave before i commit suicide, This planet won't change, now it's my time to say goodbye.

Education or just manipulation, Too many lies seen on the screen of my television. Slick propaganda making the most of god. Crusades are on their way and cannot be blocked. Not the same god but same desire of revenge, Your churches are filled up with graves, Rest in peace. A prayer in your mind, and a bullet in your head, Humanity is endangered, God blasts america. Open your damn bible, and fucking close your eyes, No time for peace but time for revenge. Steal god or oil, boosting economy, In gold you trust, more than in freedom. Never blessed, soon blasted in god's or revenge's name, Role of a democracy should be to give Peace a chance. Haws are renewed, international rights are scorned, War criminals out of control, God blasts america. Don't pray, just open your eyes, Rest in peace, die for your country. 60 million of accomplices, I hope justice will triumph.

Living in the shadow, it bodes ill for now, Waiting a salvation sunshine but nowhere safe to hide, The night slowly has fallen, darkness embraced the day, We won't be forgiven, heaven is so far away. Guilty of clearness, reality faced us, We lost our soul in what we thought was fine, We pull silence out of shape, screams are bound to be next. They are coming to pick us up, no way to leave them up, Our heart stopped beating, they kiss our lifeless skin. If i needed one more tear to get in up, Would it be yours? Would it be yours? We have lost our lives by ignorance and lack of sense, We won't choose our way, they have done that for ages, We escape to death without loosing a step, Nothing can secure us, on this run the first. Guilty of clearness, reality faced us, We lost our soul, sorry to attend This decadence, to regret we pledge allegiance. They are coming to pick us up, no way to leave them up, Our heart stopped beating, they kiss our lifeless skin. If i needed one more tear to get in up, Would it be yours? Would it be yours?

You're more hardcore, punk, straightedge or indie than me. You have far more "cool to be uncool" friends than me. Your hair is cooler and your pants are tighter and your MySpace pictures own my face. Skinnier and better looking and you have more tattoos and obviously I loose. The buttons on your bag are cooler. You are nothing but a scenester. And at anytime your favorite band is more obscure than mine. Your shoes are more vintage and so is your lame-ass shirt. More black clothes than me, more trucker caps than me. I don't even own a black leather jacket and I don't care about a fucking spiky belt. Your glasses are thicker than mine, your piercings are more weirdo than mine. The plugs in your ears are bigger than mine. You are nothing but a scenester. And at anytime your favorite band is more obscure than mine. Because as we all know, that's what really matters in a scene where the music has taken a backseat to the haircuts. Because as we all know, that's what really matters. You win and I loose, congratulations, congratulations wanker. Kid, kid listen up, if you ask me it's crazy, it's stupid, it's dumb that I shared a stage with you and that you flipped your style, you folded you art to what's now playing in bar's stereos, to what's now playing in your girl's stereo. When you're drinking at a local festival I ain't interested in hearing about your old days. And at anytime your favorite band is more obscure than mine. Because as we all know, that's what really matters in a scene where the music has taken a backseat to the haircuts. Because as we all know, that's what really matters. You win and I loose, congratulations, congratulations wanker.

Even if I am busted, even if I haven't got any dough, I'm keen on hanging around, and I know lots of things for ripping off. I wanna paint the town red, let loose, hit the town, just hang around, Go to honky tonk or beach bar, never leave before the night cap. Bite the wall, stop taking the shit out of me. Ring me up, gimme a buzz, hang on, hold on I'll be back. What's up mate, everything's fine, so now what is the plan for tonight? Chuck it man, mellow out, that's no biggie, just chill out; Haul ass, on the ball, let's jam, we're gonna have some fun tonight. Bite the wall, stop taking the shit out of me.

Found the one, The one to share it all, We burn in our own confort And don't see it until it's gone. Seek the partner, The partner of your life, A real house, a real car, A real suicide What's love? It's just a simple word, A poem about butterflies But kindness after worth. Cashed in, You hold your partner tight, You love your cat and your dog, The bank account's allright Would you stay without all this? Would you leave for more wealth? You make me laugh When you explain the way you met. I know exactly You will take what you can get. Should I quit? Should I cheat? Or should I simply burn this system down? Tear it down! Get a life! You will see you could have done much more .

Sick of hearing you, ranting about goddamn bullshits. It's fucking time to reaffirm that we don't share the same goddamn opinion. We'll never let you go; we'll never let them die. We're not the ones that you'll pretend; we'll fight for more until the fucking end. Be prepared for our badass revolution, we got enough power for the badass ignition. Let's take a goddamn look to what you have done. They are not your slaves, look what you have done. You must integrate yourself, live as I tell you to, go where I tell you to, eat what I tell you to. You little white do you live in ghetto? Wash with a basin? Why don't you understand they don't miss you when you leave? Give them money to feed their family, far from a wage. How the hell can you sleep without nightmares? You don't treat them as human beings, you who earn twice more than what you would earn here whereas there you have half less needs. They are not your slaves, look what you have done. Got it right, got it less, we don't care, it's a mess, everything you're telling us is lie. Pill them up in public housings or in deportation rooms, then you expel them, so how the hell can you pretend to be their bro? You don't share anything with them, don't share their misery, don't you understand? Useful to tell you should agree and accept that you're not the Man, just a man, and that man, ain't a MAN. Do we have to remind you, little white, that we're not the same? it's not a shame! Little white you're no god. They are not your slaves, look what you have done. Want some more, there you go, be back for the solo, everything you're telling us ain't fine. You say they're not like us, I say you're not like us. You say they must evolve, I say we must revolt. Everyone has a culture, everyone some traditions, everyone a way of life, and everyone is different, and that makes our world not yours. They are not your slaves, look what you have done.

Little Boy 02:32
When I was a little boy, I've been told a few things, Voices that I believed and I followed, But made me feel so wrong. I believed that I would have some friends I could see all my life, But they thought that it would be a chance to work and to find a wife, You said we would be young 'till we die, and everytime so mad. Daddy told me how to be a man, A worker like the one he's always been and would like me to be, He said wake up, work hard, but don't do it like that. And I kept these rejections and voices in my mind, And it helped me growing up and building me all the time. I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna hear all of your opinions, I will never want, I will never want to have the same motions. Guru was a man I met in the factory I worked, And I was walking down the street with him and all the guys of the party. We shouted hard, sang loud, strectched outour arms against our enemies. You said that we had to act, to show - The Spade, Bum, Black, Gay, Jew and Gypsy - who we are; You've planned to break, to burn and wipe out their nest, to protect the country. But i kept on thinking of that crime committed last night, And it mad me crying, shouting, trembling all the time. I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna hear all of your opinions, I will never want, I will never want your final solution. I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna hear all of your opinions, I will never want, I will never want your final solution.

Choose your poison, your way to bear this depressing world, A need for speed? Your television will lead you to it. Be a star, buy yourself a new car, You won't be seen as a junkie but as someone respectable. We all don't have the same drugs, The same way to get high, But we all need our dope to go on. You've always been told what you couldn't do, what was bad, But have you been given the magical recipe? Ways to follow, some rules to respect, T raditions, conformism, I'm sure it's not the crap you need. We all don't have the same drugs, The same way to get high, But we all need our dope to go on. The more i think, the less i can condemn these junkie guys, So don't blame them because of their opinion And i won't consider you as a sheep.

Bully 03:20
Hey man, something is wrong in my head Whe i see your face on Empty V, I just hate the bird you are With your wings spread. I realize that you want my vote Only for your bank account, You want my vote just for your stinky pride. That's aproblem. How many people did you crush by your side? How many whoppers did you already tell us? How many promises did you forget? How many bucks did you embezzle? Don't try to get my mind asleep. It's easier not to think, You want a flock of sheep, A clapometer for your ears. Poverty, indifference, unemployment, no issue, on the other side: Diplomatic immunity. How many promises did you forget? How many bucks did you embezzle? How many tonnes of shit did you already sell us? Never be manzoni, stay a bully. You'll never meet us, life is a plait, If I recognize your unsteady gait - Your brain stains with "bucks" - Be sure i'll offer you a broad smile. A cup of lucidity, 0% yuppi, No lucrative one, but sprinkle with hemlock. You'll stay a bully.

Music and scene ain't easy words. Be on stage, under highlights, with eyes staring at us as spotlights, is not what we dig in what we're doing. Wearing fashion punky clothes, being pictured by all of those who will never fucking read these lines is not what we made as our plan. I'm shouting it, what we all like is seeing you moshing, slamming and stage diving. Get P.M.A, if there was enough place you'll be with us on stage, music is what we share. Without you it has no sense. We know it's possible to get less attitude more aptitude, we all admit. I would like to see this constant noise becoming our inner choice. Less ignorance more tolerance. We decided to take the chance to gather a whole generation knowing many things can be done. I'm shouting it, what we all like is seeing you moshing, slamming and stage diving. Get P.M.A, if there was enough place you'll be with us on stage, music is what we share. Without you it has no sense.

about

The title of this album refers to Greil Marcus’ musical, philosophical and social essay: “Lipstick Traces: a Secret History of the 20th century”. As we did before with our split-CD ‘We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars”, which was a quotation from Oscar Wilde, and our ‘Rock my reality’ EP, which was a wink to “Rock my Religion”, the work of the ex-rock critic (and nowadays artist) Dan Graham who, by the end of the 70’s aimed at putting forward our society’s artificial and contradictory ideologies, we decided to work with another rock critic whose thesis was appealing. “Lipstick Traces” is a very important essay, helping us to understand today’s popular culture and its links with society. The author tries to explain the rejection of social and cultural values, which is the base of the punk movement; he based this on the refusal of capitalism which, he argues, reduces people, art and ideas to market values. “The Secret History of the 20th Century” developed in this essay is a resistance to anything that makes our existence and culture nothing more than simple consumables. It puts into prospect Dada (le Cabaret Voltaire) with Situationists (Debord and “the society of the spectacle”) and the punk movement. Resist to Exist.
Greil Marcus is a rock critic who held a philosophy in the way of Francfort’s school (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankfurt_School).
